These feet reminds me of the way we've grown. I still remember the time I first met you. You were shy and I was even more timid. I never dared approach you and neither was I courageous to talk to you. You were most distant and yet most near to my heart.
I still remember how we would show little "bids of attention" just to stay connected. I would tell my mom "I'm going cycling", when my pocket rings of two 50 cents coins that I always bring along to call you. RM1 was equivalent to 1 hour and I didn't mind standing at the phone booth regardless of rain or shine.
Many changes have come and yet to arrive. I thank God that I still have you close to me in spite of all my shortcomings. It never daunted upon me that you have given so much and I don't want to take you for granted.
Now, as we are still geographically apart. I look forward to one day where we'll be together again. These feet will continue to walk together and guide each other. These feet shall run the race and bring us towards God's will.
"Have thine own way, Lord. We will be still and know that You are God"
